May 26, 2012 - 3:15 p.m. - The sink hold on Gregory Street in Central City, CO is believed to have stabilized. It is approximately 30 feet in diameter and anywhere from 40 to 60 feet deep. Crews will begin reinforcing and filling in the hole within the hour. The Central City Public Works Department and the Department of Mine Reclamation will continue to monitor the situation for several days.
